- ahem -

Two of the three main protagonists in my webcomic-to-be-whenever-the-hell-i-get-around-to-it: Dead Hand. ;D (Jehane's the other one, you'll see him in my scraps.)

I almost don't want to say anything about these two, since I keep changing around personalities and histories and outfits (and just about everything), but at the same time, it's pretty nailed down at this point? I think?

tldr; version is Kael grew up as the daughter of two retired mercenaries, and is 'interning' as a security guard elsewhere when ... things happen, and she runs into Isandar.

I have such a ladycrush on Issy, oh my. Peaceguard Commander-turned-Pirate Queen extordinare. Despite being in her late forties, she's easily the bamf-iest character you'll see for a bit. xD Jehane's allied with Issy, and the three of them have shenanigans together.

Involving apocalyptic grimores.

And an army of possessed medusas.

:heart: Aww thank you. :3 I've always wanted to do my long-running original one, since comics in general have so much unrealized potential ... it'll eventually be in print too, but yeah, web first. Loads of themes/shoutouts to NGE and Majora's Mask which should make you even happier. : P

Ahh~ that does indeed make me very happy! How long have you been developing this comic? I really agree that comics have a lot of unrealized potential, and also not enough respect as works of art and literature... Eeee, I'm so looking forward to reading this! I'll most likely get the print version when it comes out too, if those character designs are anything to go by >///<

You know, it completely makes my day that you're so interested in this ... thank you. :heart:

Some of the characters have been recycled from previous ideas that are as old as eight years, but I've only gotten pretty serious/specific in the last two years. : P I really realy love what Unsounded [link] and Sfeer Theory [link] have in terms of quality and different characterization, and want to go in that direction ... but guh, they're just so qualityyyyy. xD;

NOOOOO Now I'm hooked on these and I had little enough free time as it was D: They are really quality though... it's been a while since something has managed to hold my attention so much as Unsounded (still need to start Sfeer Theory.) And your story has been quite a while in development, I see... Eep, so excited to see it!

Those expressions really are great! Add in a story about a bamfy old Pirate Queen and this sounds excellent. :) I really like how you've colored the shine on the hair, and that black and yellow scarf.
