Enter the bamf that is this lovely twi'lek. ;D

Honest to goodness, I was actually trying to stay away from the pink armor concept (since it's been run to the ground ugh; one of my pet peeves.), but this particular color scheme was working like crazy and I decided to go with it any way. xD Figured orange would be another appropriate color for her - the whole zest for life thing.

I feel like there's more to do with this, but it was meant to be a 5 minute doodle either way, not a masterpiece, hah.

Enjoyyyy

PRESH! <3333333
she's fabulous. Also, i have always wondered how helmets+lekku would work. <_<

I almost want to say there'd be holes cut out in the helmet with some amount of padding in the rim? or no helmet, as I do know the Death Watch at least didn't always wear one ...

Yeah... There's some sketch somewhere of mine that has holes in the helmet with a kind of sci-fi scale maille over the lekku. Yay headcanons!

I loved how she drew a knife on the idiot who thought she was 'available', nailing his sleeve to the diner table in Order 66...

"I'm not your toy, and I'm not available!"

Seems that hanging around Kal Skirata and his boys did her self-esteem a universe of good.

yess, one of the best scenes there. <3

I love how Atin instantly jumped to give her the self-defense skills, too; along with a friendly ear to talk to. Makes me want to see more of her after everything settled down and all.

I've really got to get caught up on the 'Republic Commando' stories. I used to read a lot of SW novels back in the day, but certain... fixations, let's say, on the part of some writers really turned me off them as a whole.

Only recently - with the Karen Traviss tales - am I starting to read SW books again. But I do love the Order 66 scene, where the Clones are pinned down outside the HNE studio, and Darman notices Atin on his comm... and figures out that Atin's asking Laseema to marry him. "Did she say 'yes'?"

Made me smile.

SW novels are definitely a mixed bag, no doubt. With such a gigantic EU, there are going to be bits that people have favoritism for, and while that isn't such a bad thing in itself (hey, it's probably the biggest reason why Karen focused so much on Mandalorian culture), some peeps handle it way off ... oh well. Bound to happen. : P

And gah yesss that was a lovely part; handled incredibly well, and it's just so moving especially with what comes yet. ;____;
