Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
Over 2 years worth of subs up for grabs!

Critiques
I checked out this Toonikun person, and they tend to go batshit with the textures. You did not, so yay for that.
I love the one you chose for the background. It goes very well with your color scheme of black and green.
However, the face. The eyes aren't level. Faces aren't actually wide enough that there would be such a disparity between the shapes and sizes of eyes. Maybe it was part of the style you were going for, I don't know; it does look kind of oriental, so you can pull it off even if it wasn't intentional, but it looks kind of off to me.
That's really my only gripe, tho'. Everything else is lovely, great job!
My ratings:
Originality is low because I assume it's some kind of fan thing.
Impact is three stars because of that eye thing I mentioned.
Um...my favorite part...probably the cloth, and I know I say that a lot, but really, I love the pattern on it with the proper shading, it looks so real. I always have problems doing that, and I can never really get it to look right. :/ But you managed to do it, and do it well!
The only thing that seemed off to me was the background. I don't know why, and it's really a small thing, but it just didn't look right. But meh, don't worry about that. XD It looks marvelous, keep up the good work!
