So after today’s spate of info (There was an article about FE13 in Famitsu), and hearing some other thoughts about Liz/Krom’s outfit designs, I decided to try my hand at personally redesigning them. ;D It’s still kind of crappy, but that’s because the lines here were basically drawn in class while we were watching a movie, soooo~~ keep that in mind. xD

Tried to fix the colors on both of them, trashed the non-functional parts of their outfits (extra buckles + the DAMN LACE LOL). Pretty much redid Liz’ outfit entirely, since the whole ‘no leather on the chest’ was kind of a glaring example of fanservice, and tried to keep the ‘princess’ and ‘practical’ sides matched. (Amusingly, I see her personality here a cross between Sanaki and Mist. ;D )

Krom’s was easier, though it /was/ hard trying to get the iconic Lord look without going ‘oh that’s Ike and Eliwood again’. He could be spiffed up a bit more but meh, homework calls.

I do love the FE13 artstyle, but not the designs... I agree that they seem more focused on the 'looks' than practicality. Useless features and showing off skins are new to the FE series, from what I've seen (I'm a new fan, and I saw that FE13's design is really different from the previous games).

I really like your design more than the official, because it's practical and looks more in spirit with the FE series. Liz's outfit here looks practical, and also pretty and cute, compared to the official which I think is just really weird (the lace on the head for example... and who goes to battle wearing crinoline??). Crom's outfit looks good too, even though I think his official design too bad... BUT I never understand why his outfit is asymmetrical (the exposed right arm is obvious... why do that? Just want to show off the seal? Bleh...).

All in all, great redesign! I wish you can do redesign for the other characters too, the ones with glaring weirdness... (like Cherce or Kellam lololol).

Thanks to this, I loved FE13 official Desing even more, i think the new desing make a 'renovated'(aka reboot), style, with Influences of both modern Shonen,Shojo and Seinen(unlike the old shojo who was Kaga era fire emblem or the more Western-Shohen or Kodomo(FE6) who were during the seventh generation(i count PoR as a wii game))

Ugh, the FE13 designs. Even the FE11 designs were a lot better, imo. Your redesigns are much more practical yet retains the classic FE spirit.

I'll always say it, the girl looks like a Dutch farmergirl... I'm guessing I'll put a mage from this game on my cosplaylist, don't know why, it's just a feeling xDD

Like the designs btw, and Krom looks good. Blue is such a royal colour xDD

I told y'all her dress was well past her thigh. Clerics are not meant to dress that way. I never even once thought of giving Henri that kind of get up. I really hope IS re-cons that uniform of hers because the thing is a disaster, literally, from her head to her toes. Now they look as though they're apart of the series. : D
